Developmental Play Therapy in the Treatment of Childhood Trauma

Description:
Developmental play therapy theory and play techniques to use with children will be taught. The impact of trauma on child development and the child-parent relationship will be examined. Guided Interaction, a child-parent play therapy model to instruct and guide parents in play therapy sessions, will be introduced and demonstrated in a video case study.
